Basically, I'm not sure how to start this. I am currently studying an art and design Foundation in London, and i've just started my final major project.
I have specialized in Graphic Design but I am going to do an animation for my final piece.
I came across your work on here, and since then, throughout my whole foundation I have been heavily inspired by your stuff, but unable to express myself properly until my FMP - hence my reasoning to do an animation! Your work is incredible, it really is!
Because I am using you as part of my research for my FMP I was wandering if you would perhaps give me a helping hand, perhaps I could interview you, so that I am showing my ability to carry out primary research?
Perhaps you could provide me with some advice? Anything at all would be very useful!
Can I ask how you approached Bim, for your 'Stay in my memory' piece? Did you contact the band directly or through a record label, how did you get access to that song and the band?
I am hoping that a friend of mine, who I am going to work closely with will produce some music for my animation, but if that fails I may have to use some existing music which means contacting various bands and record labels!
I'm not going to copy your style exactly, becasue I have my own ideas in mind, but your work is so beautiful.
I do hope you can help out. I'd really appreciate it.
By the way, are you producing any new animation - i cant wait??
